The bill we are trying to pass is to prevent young people under the age of 18 from going artifically tanning. Before
you close this window, please just listen up! In ten years when you're 40 and your tanned skin looks
like its 60, you will regret not listening, believe me, you don't want to be mistaken for a 60 year old!
The UV exposure is greatest during the sun's most intense period which is between 11 am and
3 PM.
What is Skin Cancer?
Cancer is a noncontiguous agent that occurs when
a cell divides uncontrollably. Skin Cancer is when that cell, is a skin cell. Skin Cancer can spread throughout your body
and stopping it can be very difficult. There are ways to get rid of it, but there are possibilities that it can come back.
This time right after the cancer is treated, is called being in remission. Cancer cells are much smaller than other cells
because they skip a section of the cell cycle where cells grow. Tumors are not the same thing as cancer. A tumor is a clump
of cells. These cells can be benign or malignant. You
can have a benign tumor without having cancer, and if you have a
malignant tumor it is cancerous, and it takes cells around it and turns them into cancer cells as well. This spreads the cancer
and it becomes much harder to control. Metastasis is cancer cells breaking away from the tumor and getting through the lining
into the blood steam and traveling to different areas of the body.

The core information about cells and cancer could not have been obtained without the help of Johan Miescher, Frederick
Griff, Oswald Avery, Alfred Hershey, Marth Chase, Chargaff, Watson, Crick, and Rosalind Franklin. Thankyou.
